Release Negative Energy with EFT and MBIR™
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/ tapping) is a type of energy therapy designed to help you release negative energy trapped within the body. This could be caused by a past event, something in your life currently, or just simply by day to day life pressures. Mindfulness based inner repatterning™ (MBIR™) is a powerful technique that can help create a sense of inner peace, combining the power of energy therapy, Neurolinguistic programming (NLP) and mindfulness into one simple to use process in order to support the mind and body to self-heal.
WHAT IS EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a form of energy psychology. It is often referred to as a psychological form of acupuncture, just without the needles. Energy psychology techniques work via the body’s nervous system and focus on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, sensations and behaviours.
EFT draws on bioenergy systems like meridians and the biofield to process existing patterns within the mind-body-energy system.
Energy psychology uses methods and models to help you work through psychological and emotional problems, improving your health, wellbeing and overall performance.
WHAT IS MBIR™?
MBIR™ is an easy to use intention based technique that incorporates energy therapy, elements of mindfulness, and simple but powerful language models in order to communicate directly with the unconscious mind. MBIR™ is designed to help you release negative thoughts, feelings, and sensations trapped within the body. It is a simple technique and supports the body’s natural healing mechanisms by helping you to access a ‘repair and regeneration’ mode of operating. MBIR™ maintains a sense of safety whilst setting an intention for healing and then guides you through a simple step by step process.
Unlike many PTSD treatments, MBIR™ does not require specific detail or demand a story. It embraces your challenges and gives you the autonomy to process and experience your difficulties on your terms. It works on many levels simultaneously, but crucially in a measured way. It works on your breathing, imagery, cognitions, behaviours, and emotions, and does so gently. It is focused on addressing many challenges including significant emotions such as shame, inadequacy, anxiety, anger, and sadness.
Understanding energy therapies
Energy therapy is a complementary and alternative group of techniques that focuses on balancing or moving energy within the body to promote healing. Also known as energy healing or energy medicine, it is based on the belief that the human body has an energetic "life force" that can be manipulated to restore health. The practice of energy healing has been around for thousands of years in cultures all over the world. Energy therapies such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), acupuncture, acupressure, Qigong, reflexology, and yoga, are rooted in the idea that a vital energy flows through the body, maintaining its health and vitality. Disruptions or imbalances in this energy flow are seen as contributing to illness or disease.
The goal of energy therapy is to restore balance to the body's energy flow using a variety of techniques believed to clear blockages in the energy field that contribute to imbalance in a person's life, thereby promoting healing and well-being. Energy therapies often emphasize the connection between the mind and body, with practitioners encouraging relaxation, visualization, and mindfulness to facilitate healing. Energy therapies are non-invasive and can have several health benefits, such as pain relief, improvements in symptoms of anxiety and depression, anger management, and enhanced overall well-being. That being said, energy healing is a complementary approach, meaning it is used alongside conventional medical treatments rather than replacing them.
How I Can I Help
EFT targets the underlying causes of your problems - the energetic disturbance. Since this is the foundation for issues, there is no limit to the potential areas where EFT can be used to help you. Most, if not all, problems are thought to have the same foundational structure - an underlying energetic disturbance.
As an EFT Practitioner, I aim to rebalance the energetic disturbance, so the problem you are experiencing no longer affects your life. This method teaches you a tool that gives you the power to manage your emotions day to day, and for any future problems that arise.
